How can you spend a delightful Sunday without sending Instagram, Facebook or WhatsApp messages? Yesterday a lot of users in Asia had to learn what to do without these social media crutches.

According to The Straits Times, “Facebook began to experience issues at about 6.30pm [April 15], according to tracking website downdetector.com. The site’s outage map showed several parts of Europe, South-east Asia and North America were affected.”

As of April 16, the downtime in places like Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thaland, and Indonesia appear to be resolved.
